AY CHIHUAHUA!
Interacting with other humans causes me a lot of stress. Within the past 48 hours, it has caused me a buttload of stress, probably more than necessary. I’ve been stressing about where some friendships are going. Should I be trying to preserve them, or should I just let them take their course? I don’t want to try to recreate something from the past when everything has changed, but I...

The 2kteens
Is anybody else as excited as I am for this new decade? It’s gonna be “teen” times better (haha) than the 00’s, which were kind of a let-down, yeah? We got off to a rocky start with this millennium, but I think the next ten years are where we get back on track. It’s gonna be fun.

Apology
I’m sorry, I’ve been getting lazy and letting way too many spelling and/or grammar mistakes show up in my posts. Please forgive me. I’m going to do my best to put an end to that. Thanks for understanding.

http://zested.wordpress.com/2009/10/25/mexican-hot-chocolate-a-molinillo/ (the above website is a really cool combo of recipes and photography, taken by the author; check it out) Mexican hot chocolate was something my great-grandmother really liked, or so I’m told; I only met her a few times and her health was already not so good. But for some reason, we have a box of the Ibarra...

I’m going to one of the highest mountains in Santa Barbara County in hopes of finding snow. Probably in vain, but I suppose the journey is what really counts, huh?

Whine session
Today is pathetic. I have a ton of things I want to do but no one is in town to do them with. I might be forced to do something crazy like make a full-on Native American headdress out of construction paper and go for a bike ride in it. Naked.

Bookbook
To read this break: The Hobbit, because it’s great and worth a reread. And my name came from there The whole LOTR trilogy in fact. Tolkien, genius, yah? The Awakening, favorite book that I think I may want to reread every year Carbon-free, Nuclear-free, it’s interesting and I got a free copy so why not? No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, from what I’ve heard, a kind of...

Chez moi, chez toi, chez nous
I have returned! I’m home after four days with grandparents and aunts and cousins in the Wolverine State. No internet, very little music, but lots of playing Taboo, listening to the Jonas Brothers, watching iCarly and pretending to be a zombie king and getting beat up by little children. And eating, lots of eating. But it’s good to be back. Very excited to begin the hanging out....
